Brita Elisabet Olsdotter
Brita Elisabet Olsdotter was born on 1 Apr 1842 to to Olof Jönsson (Brunberg) and Anna
Olsdotter in Grönäs, Ed, Västernorrland, Sweden.

She married Anders Andersson Bystrom (born 20 Oct 1838 in Skorped) on 28 Oct 1864 in
Ed, Västernorrland, Sweden.  
They had 5 children:
      Olof Anders (22 Sep 1865- 7 May 1948)
      Anna Carolina (30 Mar 1867- 6 Feb 1921)
      Brita Amanda (24 Aug 1869)
      Christina Johanna (31 Jan 1873- 8 Oct 1944)
      Amandus Perry (18 Oct 1878- 10 Feb 1971)

Brita's husband Anders died on 12 Jun 1878, just 4 months before their 5th child was born.
 She remarried 2 years later on 21 Nov 1880 to Johan Nilsson.  Brita and the
3 youngest
children left Johan in 1883 and came to America on the S.S. Lord Clive.  They arrived in
Philadelphia on 10 Oct 1883 after departing from Liverpool, England.  
Her older 2 children
arrived later.


Brita and the children lived in Marshall County, Kansas near her father Olof Brunberg until
about 1900.  Around 1900 the family moved to Brunswick township in Kanabec County,
Minnesota.  Brita lived here until she died on 1 Feb 1921.
