She remarried 2 years later on 21 Nov 1880 to Johan Nilsson. Brita and the 3 youngest
children left Johan in 1883 and came to America on the S.S. Lord Clive. They arrived in
Philadelphia on 10 Oct 1883 after departing from Liverpool, England. Her older 2 children
arrived later.
Brita and the children lived in Marshall County, Kansas near her father Olof Brunberg until
about 1900. Around 1900 the family moved to Brunswick township in Kanabec County,
Minnesota. Brita lived here until she died on 1 Feb 1921.
