Knute Alfred Runstone was born 13 Jan 1874 in Ytter Falle, Säbrå, Västernorrland,
Sweden to Johan Olof Runsten and Anna Christina Olsdotter. He immigrated to the US
with his parents in 1888. They first settled in Chicago, IL and then moved to Kanabec
Co, MN.
For some reason he decided to change the spelling of his last name from Runsten to
Runstone.
In 1897 he married Hulda Josephina Bjorklund in Kanabec Co, MN.
They had 3 children:
Sylvia, b. 31 Dec 1895
John Howard, b. 12 Feb 1898
Roland, b. 1900
Knute and Hulda divorced sometime before 1905.
In 1918 Knute married Christina Anna Flick.
They had 3 children:
Morris Stanley, b. 1917
Florence Eveline, b. 1919
Norman Vernon, b. 1922
Knute died on 30 Dec 1962 in Mille Lacs Co, MN, just 3 months after his wife Christina.
