Amanda Petronella Berglund was born on 8 Feb 1868 in Haggåsen, Viksjö, Västernorrland, Sweden to
Per Olof Berglund and Anna Johanna Persdotter.
She married Nils Olof Norén on 12 Jul 1903 in Viksjö.
According to his grandson Lars-Ola, "He played the violin, was a well-known 'spelman' and also made
violins."
They had 3 children:
Frideborg Amalia, b. 23 Jan 1905
Ola Berhard Fritiof, b. 15 Dec 1907
John, b. 1911- d. 1921
Amanda died in 1921 in Viksjö, Västernorrland, Sweden.
The first one is called "Päsamärki-låten". Päsamärki is a part of
Viksjö surroundings, it is a finnish name coming from the finnish
settlers that founded Viksjö in the 16th century.
