Anna Christina Olsdotter
Anna Christina Olsdotter was born 19 Oct 1834 in the parish of Ed, Västernorrland, Sweden to Olof
Jönsson (Brunberg)
and Anna Olsdotter.  She was the oldest of 9 children.  

On 4 Dec 1860 she married Johan Olof Runsten in Säbrå parish.  They had 8 children, however only
3 lived to adulthood.
They were:
     Johanna Christina (7 Aug 1860- 3 Nov 1862)
     Johan Olof ( 4 Apr 1862 - 16 Jun 1918 in California)
     Johanna Helena (18 Mar 1865- 26 Dec 1940 in Illinois)
     Enoch Alfred (26 Sep 1867- 9 Feb 1868)
     Anna Mathilda (25 Dec 1868- 4 Feb 1869)
     Emma Christina (14 Oct 1871- 3 Dec 1874)
     
Knute Alfred (13 Jan 1874- 30 Dec 1962 in Mille Lacs, MN)
     Otto Edvard (25 Nov 1877- 21 May 1884)

In 1888 Anna, her husband Johan Olof, and son Knute Alfred immigrated to the U.S.  They arrived in
New York on 16 Jun 1888 aboard the ship "City of Chester".  Their daughter Johanna was also
aboard that same ship, traveling with her husband and children.  Their older son Johan Olof had
already immigrated and was living in Chicago, IL.  
They lived in Illinois for about 2 years and then Anna, Johan Olof, and Knute moved to Brunswick
township, Kanabec County, Minnesota.  

They lived there until their deaths.  Anna died 28 Dec 1906 and Johan died on 7 Nov 1910.
