Anna Olsdotter was born on 30 Apr 1868 in Sörboda, Ore, Kopparberg,
Sweden to Margreta Jansdotter. Her mother was unmarried and the
father was not named on the parish register. She was the second of
three children born to Margreta.
On 9 Mar 1889 Anna married Johan Unger in her home parish of Ore.
Johan was a soldier. They had 3 children together:
Anna Augusta, born 9 Sep 1889
Carl August, born 23 Jun 1991
Johanna Wilhelmina, born 11 Jun 1894
Johan died sometime before the year 1900, as she is listed as a widow
in the 1900 census in Sweden.
In 1901 Anna and her 3 children came to the United States to join her
mother and step-father in Wyanette township, Isanti County, Minnesota.
After arriving in the U.S. she met and married August Hallin on 25 Apr
1903. They settled in Hayland Township in Mille Lacs County,
Minnesota. They had 3 children:
Arthur Hallin, born 15 May 1904
Eleanora Elvera, born 7 Dec 1907
Viola Mildred, born 13 Jun 1910
Anna died in 1944.
