Per Olof Olsson was born on 18 Dec 1835 in Grönäs, Ed, Västernorrland, Sweden to Olof Jönsson (Brunberg) and
Anna Olsdotter. He was the second oldest of 9 children. He adopted the name Berglund sometime in the 1850s.
On 22 Nov 1866 he married Anna Johanna Persdotter in Resele, Västernorrland, Sweden. They lived in the parish
of Viksjö where all of their children were born. They were:
Amanda Petronella (8 Feb 1868- 1921)
Per Amandus (20 Nov 1869)
Bror August (2 Aug 1871)
Alma Amalia (2 Apr 1873)
Olof Aron (20 Apr 1875)
Syster Anna (30 Jan 1877)
Johan Arvid (4 May 1880)
In 1896 the family moved to Återvänningen in Indals-Liden. Per Olof and his wife Anna were living there when the
1900 census was held. He was a forestry officer and the photo above is from a poster of forestry officers from that
time period.
He died on 1 Jun 1915. He is buried in Viksjö. Here is a photo of his grave stone.
